Taurillon is a special article that has become very popular in the luxury handbag world and is used by a few of the top brands. Its signature is the larger-sized pebbled grain with a full body to it. This unique pebbled grain is very regular across most of the hide, making it a great article for both larger leather products like handbags & totes but also nice for smaller goods like clutches. The leather is very durable and scratch-resistant making it great for products that see everyday use.
This article comes special from young bulls which give it a higher quality tight grain with fewer defects. It is milled for softness and the final result is a beautiful larger pebble grain texture. We get our hides from the main tannery for the luxury brands, Fontanellas and Badia (Spain). This leather is top grade with Alpine sourced hides, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel. It is easy to cut and skive. The leather is chrome-tanned and has great durability and scratch resistance. This leather is popular for watch handbags, totes, purses, clutches, and other small leather goods.
