The Economy 12oz Leather Maul or Mallet/Hammer is a nice entry level maul. The maul and Hammer has a soft nylon head to ensure your tools don't get damaged as you punch. The handle is made of nice light colored beech wood and accented with steel hardware. The maul had a flat top on the head so that you can stand it straight up when not in use and for easy access.

This is a great maul for light work like pricking irons and hole punches. Overall this is a great maul for a very economic price.
