We have a handy tool to get those clean crisp oval slots you see on many luxury watch straps. This punch allows for quick release pins to pop through the leather for easy access when needing to change out the strap on a watch. To use this tool, you slide the watch strap over the guide and tighten it in place. Squeeze the handle allowing the sharp die to close in on the leather and cut out a crisp oval slot in the leather. If you do not tighten the back pressure plate onto the leather, it can cause the guide post to bend or break. You can adjust the two silver screws on the handle to have a depth stop to avoid punching through both sides of your leather. 

This tool allows you to level up your watch straps and allow for quick release pins.
