PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Mag Wallet is a clever minimal wallet that attaches magnetically to back of an iPhone. This project takes you step-by-step embedding the magsafe hardware inside the leather and stitching a wallet to the outside. This wallet is carefully designed to hold 3 cards with a quick thumb slide to remove cards without needing to remove the wallet. The magnets are strong neodymium magnets and hold the wallet solidly into place. 

You attach this wallet directly to the back of a naked iPhone or onto an iPhone case. We offer a really unique iPhone case that has an area for you to cut and adhere your own matching leather. 

When making this wallet you will need the specified Magsafe Hardware and the instructions will show you how to apply it. To assist you on this project we've taken it a step further and created an Leather Insert kit. The insert kit include 2 important leather parts (Insert & Back Lining) that help you more easily create magsafe leather accessories. The insert drops right into the spaces the magnet isn’t in order to give you a flush surface on your wallet or accessory. The backing is pre split to 0.6mm so that the magnets maintain a stronger force when attached. If you use too thick of a leather it increases how close that magnets can get in contact and exponentially weakens that force.The insert kit is a nice hassle free way to build this project. 

The Mag Wallet pattern is a pdf downloadable leathercraft pattern. This pattern is an intermediate skill level. This project is one of our favorites, we love magnets and combining them with wallets is next level.
