The Rocky Mountain Round/Head Knife is a really versatile tool for both controlled skiving and cutting. The round knife is designed in a way that simplifies the cutting technique. You just need to bring the leather close to the knife and roll the knife forwards keeping the blade on the cutting mat the entire time. The rolling technique is really accurate and simple. You can also cut curves easily with its maneuverable 3" blade width.

The blade comes really sharp and ready to use out of the box. The steel is a high end stainless steel used in surgical blades and knifes for its high corrosion resistance and good edge retention. Its HRC is 58-60. 

The handles is a full tang, wrapped in premium stabilized wood, set with premium mosaic pins. The knife is very comfortable and ergonomic in the hand. This round knife is a very versatile tool, razor sharp out of the box and at a price that is hard to beat.
