Bisanzio is a unique Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from the Conceria Puccini Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100's of years. Puccini is a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium certifying they tan leather using the strict traditional vegetal methods. We offer serialized certification tags you can attach to your finished products HERE 

Bisanzio achieves its uniqueness from its the rustic metallic look that has an amazing contrast when light hits it! It has a  smooth finish that works well with all types of projects. Bisanzio is vegetable tanned, full grain, and sourced in their top grade. It has a nice firmer feel with a small amount of softness to it. It is easy to cut, skive and stitch making it the perfect versatile leather for all types of projects
