    Diapazon Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from Conceria Walpier Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100's of years. Walpier is a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium certifying they tan leather using the strict traditional vegetal methods. We offer serialized certification tags you can attach to your finished products HERE 

    Diapazon has a unique metallic swirl design with the non metallic areas having a buffed nubuck feel. It is more firm than a vacchetta leather, this stiffness give a nice rigidity to projects. It is full vegetable tanned and will patina nicely over time. This is their top grade, it is full grain and come in double shoulders which means no belly and a much higher usable hide. The colors are very nice and rich, it is full aniline meaning dyed with no color correction ensuring the leather has that natural look and feel to it. It is easy to cut and skive. It is some of the most versatile leather we have found. This leather is used by a luxury brand on handbags.
