A rare opportunity to grab some limited American Alligator Flanks. These flanks come now as a single flank. The flank is the side of the alligator belly where the scales are round. Often the flanks will include some of the belly, but not always

These flanks are tanned and finished in France and used by many of the top luxury watch makers on their watch straps. The flanks are the perfect size for watch straps, lanyards, accents like the strap on a field notes cover, etc. They are the perfect way to add an accent of luxury to a project.

With a natural product like leather, there can be areas with neck and back wrinkles, veins, scars, bites, loose grain, but in general this article can expect an overall high cutting area. Sides do include bellies where there can be some loose grain. This leather being semi aniline (meaning the leather is very mostly natural with some slight finishing) the leather will have most areas of concern covered improving yield. Darker colors will also better hide any areas of concern. A key skill of using full aniline leather is the ability to work less desirable areas of the hide into the less visible areas of your projects. Overall this article has a high cutting yield.
