OVERVIEW

These flanks are tanned and finished in France and used by many of the top swiss luxury watch brands for their watch straps. The flanks are the perfect size for watch straps, lanyards, card slots, and accents like the strap on a field notes cover, etc. 

The flank is the side of the alligator belly where the scales are rounder. Often the flanks will include some of the belly, but not always. This is a unique opportunity to grab some limited American Alligator Flanks at a great price!

Please note these flanks come in a single flank. We are not currently offering splitting on this product.

    With a natural product like leather, there can be areas with neck and back wrinkles, veins, scars, bites, loose grain, but in general this article can expect an overall high cutting area. Sides do include bellies where there can be some loose grain. This leather being semi aniline (meaning the leather is very mostly natural with some slight finishing) the leather will have most areas of concern covered improving yield. Darker colors will also better hide any areas of concern. A key skill of using full aniline leather is the ability to work less desirable areas of the hide into the less visible areas of your projects. Overall this article has a high cutting yield.
