DS-015 The Clipper Wallet Digital Pattern

The Clipper leather wallet pattern is a pdf downloadable leather crafting pattern to create a long wallet with six card slots, one spacious coin pocket and two banknotes and/or receipts compartments. It is an advanced skill level wallet template that provides also a learning opportunity for those that never crafted a design featuring overlapping horizontal card slots and folded coin pocket. The leather pattern pdf includes full assembly instructions and you will get also an archived folder with supporting pictures to visualize some of the critical steps of the build. The Clipper wallet is definitely a conversation starter and provides wide range of opportunities for cool and creative color combinations.

THE CLIPPER WALLET

Dimensions: 18/10.5cm (~7/4.1 inches)

Capacity: 6 card slots (including 2 hidden behind the coin pocket), two cash/receipts compartments and a coin pocket

Skill level: Advanced

Leather:

> 1.0-1.2mm thickness (2.5-3 oz) for the interior

> 1.4-1.8mm thickness (3.5-4.5oz) for the exterior

Pattern specific tools/materials:

2 snap buttons of your choice. Some skiving maybe required based on the leather thickness you will be using.

Note: Stitching holes in the pattern are 4mm from the edge (unless mentioned otherwise in the pattern instructions) and spaced at 3.85mm, however illustrative in nature. You can use other spacing based on your pricking irons or stitching chisels, or aesthetic preferences.

> The photos included in the Instructions Pictures.zip folder as part of the download are essential part of the assembly instructions written in the pdf file

> Always print at 100% for the pattern to work correctly. Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines.
