DS-038 The Sail Passport Cover Digital Pattern
The Sail leather passport cover pattern is a pdf leather crafting pattern to create a passport holder that fits two standard size passports OR one passport and a simple bifold wallet. This is a beginner skill level leather template that can also be a stitch less pattern if you skip the two 'sails' that hold the elastic band. Modern and innovative passport wallet that your customers will love as much as you do crafting.

THE SAIL PASSPORT COVER

Dimensions: 14.5/10.5cm (~5.7/4.1 inches)
Capacity:
2 standard size passports (B7 - 88/125mm)
OR
1 standard size passports (B7 - 88/125mm) + 1 Lieutenant Wallet (Other wallet designs of mine that will suitable are: The Commander, The Pirate, The Porthole, The Buoy etc)

Skill level: Beginner
Leather: 1.6-2.2mm thickness (4-5.5oz)
Pattern specific tools/materials:
>> 5mm hole punch
>> 75cm (30 inches) of round 2-3mm (1/16 - 3/32 inches) thick elastic band
> Note: stitching holes in the pattern are 3.5mm from the edge (unless specified otherwise in the pattern instructions) and spaced at 3.85mm, however illustrative in nature. You can use other spacing based on your pricking irons or stitching chisels, or aesthetic preferences.
> Always print at 100% for the pattern to work correctly. Measure and cut on outside edge of the lines.
