The Glasses Holder leather pattern is a PDF downloadable leather crafting pattern to create a simple and stylish eyeglasses or sunglasses holder. It is a beginner skill level leather template in its basic version without lining. The pattern files also include various trim allowance options - for the overlapping corner curves and 3mm full trim allowance, as well as lined version that is stitched all the way around. THE GLASSES HOLDER

Dimensions: 15.6/7.5 cm ~ 6/3 inches
Skill level: Beginner or Advanced (if you will use lining)
Leather: 1.6mm thickness (4oz)

Pattern specific tools/materials:
> 1 x snap button - up to 12.5mm in diameter (1/2 inch)

IMPORTANT: The holder will fit glasses that are not too curved and when closed the widest gap between the handles and the bridge between the lenses is not more than 3cm (~1.2 inches). Refer to the gap warning photo included in your download or the listing photo if you are reading this prior to purchasing the pattern.

Pattern Variations
I have included 3 pattern variations that are identical in regard to the dimensions of the final product but differ depending on how you want to approach the build. The first one is the basic one without lining and with partial trim allowance for the bottom corners. The second one adds a stitch line all around the holder in case you want to include lining and makes the corner trim allowance full. The last one is with 3mm full trim allowance. If you use lining, make sure not to go over the combined thickness of 3.2mm (8oz).
Even if you don’t include lining in your build, you can still use the last two variations depending on what trim allowance you prefer to use.

Basic Instructions
> Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines.
> Stitching holes in the pattern are spaced at 4mm, however due to curves and irregular shapes might differ slightly at some spots.
> There is a Print Accuracy Test included on all pages in case you don’t want to print all of the pattern variations. :)
