Please note remnant hides are a large single piece but can be odd shaped and best to be used for small leather goods. Occasionally a piece may have larger cutting areas but its not to be expected. There can also be chalk and silver pen marking. The chalk can usually be rubbed off with a rubber block we sell. The silver pen is more difficult but can be removed on some colors more easily with silver pen removing markers. Some creasing may be noted and you may be able to get some of them using Iron with cloth between or an iron press. It is a great change to get some very limited colors

70%+ This leather is best suited for those who appreciate the natural character and variation that comes with a genuine hide. As a natural material, leather may include wrinkles, veins, scars, bites, loose grain, and other markings that make each hide unique. Because this is full aniline leather with minimal surface finishing, those natural characteristics remain visible and authentic. Some areas of the hide may be better suited for small to medium goods, and ordering a full hide is recommended if you need larger uninterrupted panels. Darker colors can help minimize visible variation, and thoughtful cutting allows you to work around or incorporate these natural features into your projects. |
