The Pata de Cabra translates to “leg of the goat” has a unique ergonomic shape that is an ubiquitous tool with Spanish leather workers. 

Its unique design keeps your hand closer to the leather and limits the lifting motion of your arm and elbow... Over a days' worth of work it means less strain on the shoulder and arm.

The tamping hammer is hand made in Spain from solid blocks of olive wood and sanded to a smooth finish. It has a nice arc to prevent any damage on the leather.

CARE

To keep your hammer aging beautifully rub occasionally with a natural oil finish. If you want to keep its original color you can wipe down with water, sand lightly with 220 grit and rub on a natural oil finish.
