• Yield: High 85%+, With a natural product like leather, there can be areas with neck and back wrinkles, veins, scars, bites, loose grain, but in general this article can expect an overall high cutting area. Grading is done by inspecting how many of the quadrants have defects. 0-1 quadrants with defects = Grade 1, 2 quadrants with defect = Grade... and so on. The tail and head may have defects but this does not get factored into the grading as the main area of concern is the belly.

These Porosus Crocodile panels are tanned in France by one of the top tanneries supplying the luxury brands. The skins are the highly sought after farm raised which is the highest quality available. These panels are the perfect exterior for a high end wallet. There are some options for 4.1" wide or 4.7" wide to acomodate even vertical wallets. The panels are 12+ inches in length, which is plenty extra and in many cases you can use the excess for interior parts of the wallet 

Porosus Crocodile is a luxury exotic leather that has one of the most distinct looks due to its beautiful and unique scales. Porosus Crocodile is arguably the top of the luxury exotics leathers and has become one of the most sought for high end leather goods. 

These specific Porosus Crocodile hides are farm raised which is the highest quality and selected in highest grades. These being glazed, they go through an added step where the fully aniline dyed skins are polished by a special agate stone. This creates an incredible depth to the vibrant colors that just can't be reproduced any other way. When natural light hits the skins the colors come alive. Hence again the reason glazed crocodile is so special and highly sought after.

The panels are all Grade 1 which means there are 0-1 defects on the panel. In general the panels are very good. while we can't say every panel is completely flawless they are about as close as it can get. Please note the glaze can get a little cloudy overtime and can be polished up with our reptile creams and conditioners.  a

We are offering panels in the belly and tails that are great for wallet exteriors and other small leather goods. The belly cuts will be similar to the pictures. The tail cuts will go the other direction (Horizontally). The tail cuts are great for both wallet exteriors and also watch straps. We will add more colors soon as well

• Dimensions: Width are noted in the listing and are usually 4.1cm wide or 4.7 cm wide. The length will be 9+ inches which is plenty extra for a wallet. You can in many cases use the extra for parts on the inside of your wallet. 

CITES

The skins are all CITES II tagged and approved ensuring they were imported meeting all regulations and guidelines. The hides are farm raised (highest quality) for meat and the skin is a byproduct. 

COLORS

• Please note the pictures are our best representation of the leather and colors vary from monitor to monitor. If color accuracy is very critical for you we recommend emailing us and purchase a sample cutting prior to purchase. Also note color can vary production dye lot to dye lot. 

EXPORT
