TIP DETAILS

S Series

The S Series Filleteuse Tip is a creaser but doesn't have the edge guide. These are used to crease your leather without being limited to edges only. Many bookbinders use these to make gold foil creases or they can be used in a similar fashion as the "wax spatula" to finish the wax on your edges

• S0.5 - Crease Thickness: 0.5mm
• S1.0 - Crease Thickness: 1.0mm

F Series 

The F Series Filleteuse Tips are creasers with a guided edge that follows the edge of your leather and makes a beautiful crease on all types of leather. 

• F1.5 - Crease Distance from edge of Leather: 1.0mm; Crease thickness 0.5mm
• F2 - Crease Distance from edge of Leather: 1.5mm; Crease thickness 0.5mm
• F2.5 - Crease Distance from edge of Leather: 2.0mm; Crease thickness 0.5mm

FC Series  (Comparable to F Series, but with a more compact head)

• F1.5C: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.0mm;  Crease Thickness: 0.5mm
• F2C: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.5mm;  Crease Thickness: 0.5mm
• F2.5C: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 2.0mm;  Crease Thickness: 0.5mm

FN Series  

The FN Series is comparable to F Series, but the crease is rounded and softer in look instead of square and sharp

• FN1: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 0.75mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm
• FN2: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.00mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm
• FN3: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.25mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm

FNR Series  (Comparable to FN Series, but with rounded head)

• FN1R: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 0.75mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm
• FN2R: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.00mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm
• FN3R: Crease Distance from Edge of Leather: 1.25mm;  Crease Thickness: 1.0mm

Wax Spatula

The wax spatula is used to finish the edge of you leather with edge paint, wax or paraffin. The large area makes it easy to heat your edge evenly to smooth edge paint and melt your wax compound into the leather providing a beautiful professional finish.

Watch Strap Tip

The watch strap burnisher is used to burnish and finish the inside of your watch straps where the links and buckles go. The heat burnishing smooths out the inner flesh side of the leather so that the buckles and links rotate smoothly and freely. This tool is used by most high-end watch strap manufacturers.

Adjustable Creaser Tip 

The adjustable creaser is a special creasing tip that can be adjusted from 0-5mm wide allowing for many creasing options. The creasing tip is 1 mm wide.

Pointed Thread Finishing Tip

This tip is designed to melt/cut your synthetic thread (Tiger, Polybraid, Japanese MBT) and finish it close to the leather.

Grooved Burnishing Tip

The grooved burnishing tips are used to burnish and finish the edge of your project.
