OVERVIEW

Our Rocky Mountain Thick Punch Pads are a great way to protect both your sharp cutting tools and your bench from excess wear. The mats are 6mm (1/4 inch) thick to ensure no punching gets through with a normal tap from your mallet, maul or hammer. These mats have a higher durometer than other cutting mats so that they can withstand the punching and not wear out as quickly.

The mats come in a nice green/turquoise color and have enough transparency you can put notes or diagrams under the mat and it will show through.

*These mats may ship rolled but are self healing and will flatten out. You can use a blow dryer on medium heat, held 5-6 inches away from the mat, to help soften it and then place something heavy on top of it for a few hours to help flatten it out.
