Digital Leather Thickness Gauge is a handy tool to have for selecting which parts of a hide to cut, for splitting, for skiving, and knowing how thick your layering is. The gauge can be swapped from inches to mm and also zeroed out with the touch of a button.
To zero out the gauge, you will need to press the gauge completely closed and press the zero button. When you open the gauge it will then be ready to use and read thicknesses correctly. This process will need to be done each time you turn the gauge on.
